I've been on this forum several times since buying a 51 plate bravo 1.6 16v with 57k on the clock.
Suddenly it's started having some very strange symptoms which started with the engine cutting out whilst moving then not starting and now Windows won't work and when the lights are turned on the engine cuts out... Any ideas folks

Hi, and welcome to FF,
sounds electrical..,

test battery / alternator with a volt meter,
should be @ 12 Volts with engine off, and 14V with engine running,

beyond that, it could well be a poor earth/ ground connection,
follow the black battery lead- should be bolted to car body under battery area,
unbolt this - clean-up ( wire wool / pan scourer),
then bolt back into place.
