Hi thanks for the battery advice I'll get that sorted next week, as for MOT advisories!..."nearside & offside lower suspension arm have slight play in ball joint"! Hopefully I'll get a couple of quote next week as well, any ideas on the price I'll be looking at, it would just give me a heads up whether the quotes are good or not.
Anybody in the Peterborough had this work done, if so where did you go and would you recommend them or not!

Yeah those rear dampers are really a joke! Remember the pic i posted of it leaking at about 40k miles or so. Changed for the billies.

Taken our 500 to the garage we use for MOT's and they put it up on the lift...the good news is they believe all is well, there is very little to no play in the suspension arm ball joints! No repair bill for me!
