Hi everyone,

I have just joined the forum as I am looking for a Fiat Panda to use as a runabout in London.

I am after a Fiat Panda ECO so £30 annual road tax, cheap insurance and good MPG. I have been looking on eBay & Gumtree so thought I would widen the search here.

I look forward to reading the tutorials and meeting the 'online' veterans.

I work as a Champagne importer for my family so you can follow me on Instagram or on Facebook when I am not on here. (I will add the links when I have sufficient posts).

Speak soon!

Hello, and welcome to FF,

good solid cars the panda,
if buying around London , check for suspension wear, ( speed humps)
along with panel damage, ( street parking)

the suspension parts are cheap + easy ..just want to make sure you are prepared for the outlay.. ; - )

Thanks for the welcome varesecrazy

I might have to carry heavy loads at times so I might look into reinforced springs and shocks once I get a Panda - any advice welcome as I have only seen lowering kits and not reinforced kits so far.

Thanks

I have now purchased a Fiat Panda 1.2 ECO.

The first things I need to do are:
the boot light tutorial; and
the gear gator.

I will need some advice for re-inforced suspension (without lowering) at some point in the near future and also advice on getting a better radio and speakers.

Cheers

Vincent

Boot light? Several posts about fitting a boot light. All clever and straightforward.

I have taken a different route. I have fitted a dynamo led torch in a quick-release holder just under the permanent plastic cover that holds the parcel shelf. Manually switched on when required, and useful for other after-dark emergencies also. Holds its charge for weeks, so instantly available. No need for wiring, etc and dead simple.

Sweetsixteen.
