I have a 2004 Fiat Stilo Abarth 2.4 20v which has been standing for a while as the auxiliary belt came off and got stuck on the crank pulley between the cam belt. I have replaced both belts, the engine turns over but does not start. Can you please advise

Do you get any warning/error messages at all on the dash?

Also does it turn over normally? As in quite fast.

1st, check the fuel pump runs + immobiliser ( KEY symbol)is going off ;-)

My guess is the jamming aux belt made the cam belt jump a notch or two and put the timing out. Did you re-check the cam timing when you fitted the new cam belt?

does sound MOST likely..

but sods law says something stupidly simple will stop it after the work done..!!

If it's been standing for a while then it may well be just the battery?
