Hello gang!

As is customary my first post should be a short introduction. I've just bought a 2002 Ulysse, petrol engine with around 80k miles on the clock.

I'm based in Germany so it's a LHD model in green and looks reasonable for it's age. I didn't intend to buy this car but got caught out on a very popular online auction site while bored last weekend. Still the price I won it for was half the BIN price.

I have to confess that I've never been much of a Fiat fan. I don't expect any level of build quality, just an old plodder that won't have to work too hard getting me to work each day. I do like to make my own repairs so I'm going to dig into the forum now and bone up on possible faults I can expect.

Well, don't worry about it being a Fiat - it's not. It's a Peugeot (807), built on the same production line in Northern France as the Citroen C8 and the Lancia Phedre!

Or DO worry as you have bought a French car instead of Italian!!!

Haha. I'm just worried full stop.

Has a nasty oil and/or PAS fluid leak so that's first job this weekend.

Doesn't seem that bad really but I haven't shown it to my family yet though. The children are mortified that I've bought a Fiat so I'll try to convince them that it's a Peugeot now.

If anyone has any pointers for the PAS leak which I've read could be a common fault, I'd appreciate a few tips please.
