Hi folks my first time on the forum. Just got my first Fiat a 500L. Loving the car but radio driving me nuts, the volume keeps changing. Have tried all the speed related settings to no avail. would love some advice. Cheers

I haven't experienced this but suspect it may be related to the speed setting as these new radios are very clever but equally complex and maybe temperamental.
On a related issue ,is anyone disappointed with the sound quality ?,especially on
CDs as IMO it doesn't seem full enough ,even after playing with the EQ and fader .

We haven't had this with ours and if you have tried all the settings it sounds as if you need to take it up with the dealer.

Thanks for that, i,ve tried the speed thing,no joy. Even when I go round corners at a constant speed it still comes and goes. will try Fiat dealer. thanks again for the advice.

Just wondering how you got on with dealer? I have the same problem with my 3 week old 500l mpw. Its the only thing i am disappointed with. Please let me know. Thanks.

As it is new, dealer is the first place to go.

Do you have your phone connected via Bluetooth? If so, it may be triggering the mute like when on a call. Disconnect the phone and see if the issue disappears.

Hey, thanks for the thoughts re bluetooth. I have deleted the device that was paired but still the same. It just fades in and out. All stations. The sound doesnt go completely though. Ive even reset the many settings but still no difference. I guess its one for the dealership. Its 60 miles from where i stay though. Quite annoyed actually. My car was a demonstrator that the manager had been driving. He must've had the problem himself. Just hope i can explain things to the dealership okay. Wish me luck.

Quick update on radio problem. I went back to the dealer and after a 'product enhancement' update it's as good as new.
