saves on the water bill at home use less and use the punto first thing to give you a wash, ill never forget those times :slayer: not that it taste nice if it gets in your mouth :yuck:

Many thanks for the warm welcome, Homeward, (and all). I've just aquired the Punto from my daughter and had the windscreen replaced after her Ex-boyfriend threw a wobbly and smashed it, along with the n/s front (passenger) window which I aim to replace today or tomorrow. Also the battery seemed to die on her alot, so I'll be looking at the cause to that. In the mean time, the CD player has come out and the battery is on charge. I'll try and upload some pics asap. Thanks again and I'll be back soon.
P.S. I love blue text Rocky420, maybe some 3D glasses would help !!

Many thanks for the video, AndyRKett, though it's basically the same for all car batteries and I've had plenty of flat batteries in my lifetime. I've charged it up overnight and its fine again. The car starts and runs so thats a good sign.
It's the cause that I need to ascertain and the CD player was the first thing I could think of, but having taken that out, it seems the battery is still losing charge somewhere. O well, I shall investigate when I get a chance.
The new Windscreen is done, I now have the new passenger side window in place and everything is legal, so I can start driving the Punto around to see what else needs doing.
If anyone needs a guide through the replacement of the side window, I'd be happy to help where possible, (hopefully the photos can help - don't forget the side clip in the window channel !).
