Thank you for letting me join this great forum. I have a 0.9 500 and would like to get to know the simple things about it such as how to change the oil and lots more!

Hello, and welcome to FF,


you CAN change the oil on a Twin-air Yourself.. however with new oil ( of the correct type) , the vehicles Engine ECU is then supposed to be reset,
due to these specific oil quality constraints,


I used a FIAT / ALFA independent specialist who charges £93 for the whole job,
FYI ,
the oil = @£40


filter = @£17


So I'm not paying much over the odds for a warrantied job, AND time on the Examiner lap-top,

as I said;
to safeguard your £1000 multiair unit,
you have to use the correct PETRONAS oil,and reset the ECU,

MOST UK Twinairs are still under FIAT warranty..
