Hi,

Need your help:

Have an opportunity to purchase a Fiat 500L which has about 15K original miles on it and has zero rust.

The owner says he purchased the car directly from Italy and it's 100% original.

I looked at the car today and it appears to in excellent condition and sure looks original to me. (very nice) !!!

It drove nice and straight but took some time to get used to the clutch and mini power!!

He will sell the car for $6,000.00 ----------- is this a fair price for a car this old that looks almost new?

Much obliged for help,
Ralph

$6,000 is a steal. I know a guy that was stopped on the road in California and was offered $16,000 on the spot. 15k km original is suspect. My 69 500L odometer said 10k when I bought it, but remember after 99,999 km, the dial rolls to zeros. I have the original papers (Libretto Circolazione) when I bought my vehicle here in Italy and the mileage is never documented, even when road tax stamps were issued and affixed to the book. Be suspicious when they tell you 15k original miles as that is a hard one to prove, but the price is right!
