When I start my fiat idea 2005 sum-times the headlights come on when they r not switched on and the indicators don't work or does the wipers.but 5 mins later all is back 2 normal...I've checked all fuses and cleaned all earth points......?????....

I had the same sort of problem on my grande punto , in the end i had to replace both stalks, (the things with the buttons on coming off the steering wheel) got a genuine fiat one from ebay for about £30

or possibly a poor connection to the storks,
cleared up when you fitted replacement storks..,

there is so much wiring in that area , it's not unheard of for connections to be dodgy.. even moving the steering wheel through it's full RAKE adjustment can do it..!!,

I think i found sum thing near the door seal.its block with about 10 or so wires in it.but near 2 that there's a 4mm earth that looks abit suspect..I looked at the stalks??? But can't tell if ok.so am going 2get sum new 1s anyway.can u tell me a site I can get them??..I've tired eBay and a few others but no joy. Thank u..mart.

the stalks are a common problem evey ebay seller breaking an Idea seems to sell the stalks fast. my daughters lights kept coming on when she indicated, now they are on all the time, every thing else is working ok though. Stalks is going to be main dealer i reckon or some of the traders in the ff traders section may be able to get them https://www.fiatforum.com/traders-post/
