Hi first of all what a great forum, thanks to all who run it...I have just bought a Stilo 1.2 2002 plate and just cant get the radio/cassette to work, it all lights up as it should do with the radio stations etc but absolutely no sound comes out the speakers, not even a buzz.... the lady who sold it me said she was told it was a connector on the arial or something but I don't see how that would stop any sound whatsoever coming out but I am a novice lol.... any help would be much appreciated as its not good on a long jounrney with no sounds but apart from that what a belting little car and thanks in advance

Check that the speaker wire are connected into the back of the radio.

As mentioned first check the speaker wires are connected and connection points are clean, also its goot to make sure the speakers are still in and connected as well.

Doesn't work only radio or cassete also?
In my radio i can't listen radio, but it plays cassete (i made from cassete player a linear input and got ability to listen my mp3 player).
You can try to check your speakers from service menu...

hi thanks so much for your help, theres an update now lol I put a cassette in and that played fine so the speakers are ok, everything appears to work on the radio, finding stations etc but just no sound at all, not even a buzzing so any help would be very much appreciated thanks in advance

Does it work on MW? If so its most probably the FM modulator has failed. It can sometimes be cured simply by disconnecting it & leaving it a few hours before re-connecting it.

Failing that try a different stereo :slayer:
