AFAIK the H4 headlights are not controlled by the bodycomputer via CAN. (You get no message on the display if either of them is broken) So Xenon should not be a problem as long as the law doesn't require washers and automatic dipping.

Correct, but TBH LED headlights are silly money anyway so pointless considering imo.
Xenon are fine in UK without the above, its only HIDs which need auto leveling and headlamp washers
I think that what you over in the UK call HID's are called "Xenon" in Holland. Cars younger than '06 (I think) need the bits and bobs to get MOT (APK).
Normal shape H4 filled with Xenon instead of the normal gas are no problem overhere as well.

Ah right, people incorrectly over here call HIDs Xenon, didn't know if it was the same in Denmark also? Seems not
