Can you advise me on a reoccurring faults remedy. My Doblo's wipers started to work intermittently. I checked the stalks connections and found no faults.I changed the motor and Bingo Job done.Two months later its back. If you quickly move the stalk up and down it sometimes restarts but whats more annoying is if you turn off the ignition and turn it back on, the fault clears, bit tricky in the pouring rain at 60 mph. Please can anyone help.

maybee worn ignition switch,im no expert but if you leave touching the stalk and put ignition off then back on ..does the fault stay away????

Had identical symptoms to yours, which were cured by fitting a new column switch assembly. Expensive, but didn't want to risk a used replacement having the same snag, as it seems to be a common fault. Think the relay is embedded in the stalk assembly.

Didn't have a fault at all until it went to (DIS)ADVANTAGE FIAT for a service. Fault first appeared immediately after collecting the car from their dealership in Lincoln. What a bunch of cowboys! Not going there again. (And it wasn't the only thing they f****d up)
