Hello Everybody
Just joined the forum as we(Pat & John) have just purchased a 1986 Fiat Ducato Autostratus motorhome - yes we love it and will have many adventures in it together.
Firstly Pat my good lady is the driver and interior designer and I take care of everything else
Now I don't drive and have very little mechanical knowledge but that will not stop me from doing my best, I am ashamed to say that until yesterday I didn't know how to top up the oil! - but thanks to the forum I found out,as clearly other owners could not find the oil filler cap either. Well I am pround to say that I have now topped up the oil and was even considering a complete oil change until Pat informed me that they do that when it is serviced. I have also fixed the wipers as they stopped working on day one when driving it back home as the new owners in a rain storm - that was the first time that I had peered under the bonnet. I have managed to source a manual for the year and hope to spend many happy hours under the bonnet tinkering away as necessary and with the help(lots of it) of the good people of this forum to keep this old girl on the road for many years to come.
