Hi thanks for the post.... Im no car expert but I have already encountered some niggles and I only bought the car last thurs! Im just gonna treat it like any other car I've ever owned to which I have always had probs. So far, ive noticed like a creaking sound coming from the rear mainly when I seem to slow down, turn a corner. Alarm randomly going off. Indicator stalk not staying down when turning left unless I hold it for a second or so. Temperamental starting the engine. Thank god for warranty for the first few months!

This must be a new record, only 2 posts and you in trouble with the mods..............

Regarding the indicator stalk, I found that by removing the rubber housing from the steering assembly, (so that it is hanging loose) resolved that problem. Suspension noises can be a lot of things, but start with some lubrication on all the hinge points. Bushes tend to be problematic and if you do a forum search on it, should give you some indicators on the different fixes. Starting issue, also had the same, try cleaning of the throttle body.

Hi guys

Following on from my post the other day regarding a few niggles, I thought i'd give you an update....... I've took the stilo into a local garage (someone who I have used for years) who have said that the creaking/banging noise that I could hear was a brake caliper that was not bolted on! Said that the car shouldn't be driven in this condition as it is really dangerous! Not a massive job but at least I'll be getting it sorted - Great start to stilo living! ha ha
