After many weeks of scanning various classifieds for a Panda 4x4 or a 100hp I finally picked up a 2005 4x4 yesterday. Flew across to NI from Newcastle yesterday morning and drove it back home, a 13 hour round trip.

It's a great little car and had me all the way home. One owner and 56K miles, it has a few little niggles which I'll sort out over the comming weeks in readiness for the winter.

Thought I'd sign up to the forum just to say hi and see what's going on. Already found the first useful post in the Panda section as it would seem my Panda also suffers from the rattling passenger air bag, one of the jobs on the list for tomorrow.

Give me a wave if you see a metallic red 4x4 with NI plates driving around the NE.

them 4x4 magic pandas are about as rare as hens teeth, only worked on one in a year at Fiat Silverlink

Welcome - they're excellent cars aren't they.... Not all that many of us on here, but they're also 95% the same as the rest, so pretty much everything is relevant.
