Hey, just joined this forum today, a few hours ago, and I've already found a solution to a persisting problem through merely creating a thread and receiving lightning responses.
Love the positive attitude and helpfulness in this forum. Loads of selfless users go out of their way to help others, which is nice to see.
I recently purchased a Fiat Stilo 1.6 16v Petrol 5 Door Active [AC] (Never understood what the AC stands for??). It's a 53 plate, done 63000 miles, only had 1 owner who looks as though they've been looking after it through all of the service, MOT and inspection records. So quite happy with the buy there.
Obviously after driving it for a week or so you begin to noticed a few nitty gritty problems, and most of which were easily fixed or explained by browsing this forum. But i encountered something I couldn't find even after extensive searching (concerning the boot shelf), so decided to join this friendly community and post, and got the help I needed within minutes.
Apart from that just wanna say I'm happy to be here. Little bit about myself, I'm 18, this is my second car (previous Vauxhall Corsa just died...), I live in Greater London, town called Hayes. So as you can imagine, both insurance and fuel costs are a pain in the behind, but I managed to get my Stilo for quite a steal (not literally of course), so reasonably happy.
Wondering if anyone can offer any tips/ pointers I should possibly be looking out for or just general maintenance advice. Any help is appreciated.
