Hello just moved to kansas from ca and picked up a 75 x1/9 bertone with some issues but runs, starter wasnt working took it off ordered new solenoid, changed plugs/wires, fuel filter, air filter oiland filter going to throw on a lift weld up bottom pans and rust areas, check tranny and differential rebuild carb also need to fix all the latches on trunks/hood change door locks other misc stuff. I'm a diesel technician and know nothing about fiats open to advice and any info/mod links ect appreciated.

If you're a diesel technician then you do know Fiats (indirectly) you just don't know it.

Fiat own something like 90% of all the intellectual property regarding diesel engines and license it all out. Some manufacturers just buy the engines in from Fiat as a cheap option, especially the smaller engines.

I wouldn't worry too much about the fine detail either - there are plenty of foibles.
 
Still a different world going from diesel rigs to a tiny carberated car lol, I took the starter apart fixed it changed the plugs, wires, filters ect had to tinker with the carberator a few times before I figured out why it wasn't staying running and died under load took it for a drive throw pictures up and more details later rebuilt the carb figured out the choke and its good now. 3rds a pain to get into but I think the linkage is just real sloppy.
