Hiya to all the Fiat Forum Folks,

I found the site as I am looking for answers regarding a rear door that is not unlocking properly. There was a post about this last year but folk were unwilling to post how to break in to the rear of the van to fix the lock. I took the van to a Fiat dealer who was a bit unsure as to how they were going to get in and said there might be subsequent damage if they tried to get into the van.

I know there is a small plastic cover on the lock - when you take that off there is a rivet?? that looks difficult to remove. The bottom of the rear door can be pulled open a bit so that you can see the inside metal of the door and there is a screw there too that may be connected to the lock. The top of the rear door is locked and will not budge.

Has anyone any info as to how I can fix this? Any ideas would be gratefully received.
