hiya all,
as you can see by the title if have a ford escort!
but seriously,my ducato 4x4 has been in my possesion since 1994,going through its millenium camper conv, nearly done it! been nearly done it since 1996,but its a handy motor for any reason you can possibly think of..
seeing as i have no pickys yet,i will describe the beast,
its a 1991 'h' reg,white with brown flashes,ok rust,and is the first of the face lift mk1 ducato's,
engine is the sofim 2.5 turbo, rated at 95bhp over the original 92bhp wooo!:worship:
am thinking of in the future fitting a 2.8td motor inthere for several reasons,
1/ more power,
2/ better emissions for the future,
4x4 ducato's for some reason inherited a batch that was rather smokey, spoke to some a.a guys and ther folks at murvi and they said the same thing, possible glazed bores that never wore in,but this never affected performance...
so now i will be testing folks here on silly questions and idea's in the future!
