Hey New 2 This But Need Help Asap

HEY I HAVE A 1994 PUNTO CABRIOLET 1.6........ THAT HAS A SPLIT AIR INTAKE PIPE, HOWEVER FIAT HAVE DISCONTINUED THE PART AND NOWHERE SEEMS 2 HAVE 1 IT IS APPARENTLY A CHEAP PART BUT MY CAR IS KNACKERED WITHOUT IT......! IF ANY1 HAS ANY IDEAS PLS PLS LET ME KNOW! I'M DESPERATE AND DON'T WAN'T 2 LOSE MY CAR OVA 1 PART......!!

air intake pipe? where abouts is it? is it something that could be replaced by buying a induction kit?

or try find a second hand part on one of the part finding websites or ebay for a cabby being broken for spares

plenty of old 1.6 90 elx's in scrap yards along with sportings, same engine in all of them

Yeah The Problem Is That The Part I Need Can Only Cum From A Cabriolet And They R Far And Few Between!!!!!!!!! Found A Few But All Have The Same Broken Part As It's A Common Fault Apparently!!!!!!

ITS A BENT HARD PLASTIC PIPE THAT GOES IN2 THE ENGINE......IT'S A BELLOWS PIPE APPARENTLY THAT TELLS THE ENGINE HOW MUCH FUEL AND AIR IT SHOULD TAKE......!
NOT SURE BOUT AN INDUCTION KIT.......WOT IS IT?????? SORRY US GIRLS R THE BEST AT DRIVING JUST NOT SURE HOW 2 PUT A CAR 2GETHER YET......LOL BUT I'M LEARNING QUICKLY.....! LOL

You could also try looking at 1.6 litre Tipos/ Tempras as they used the same engine. Not exactly plentiful in scrappies though!

Best bet is to post a picture of the pipe you are talking about. That way a member should be able to identify exactly what it is and what cars you could take one from.
