Smile alloy wheels

Im looking to buy a 15" alloy wheels/tyre package and was wondering if i can fit the 205/60/15 tyres that come with the package to the multipla without any clearance problems and as the profile is 60 rather than 65 (185/56/15 standard) will this effect my speedo reading? The multipla owners website says its ok but was wondering has anybody fitted this size wheel/tyre to their multipla and if so how did the car feel afterwards in regards to handling (eliminating the understeering i get) and any clearance issues epecially when fully loaded or towing.
Many thanks Gary

Re: alloy wheels

I doubt the difference slightly in width wouldnt effect your speedo, maybe if the wheels were bigger i.e. 17'' etc maybe you would see some speedo related probs and maybe not as good acceleration but you should be fine

Also you should be doing whatever the speedo says

Re: alloy wheels

Ordered a set of 15" alloys with 195/65/15 tyres from rochford tyres, could have gone a bit lower on profile but speedo would have read out a little (its spot on with standard 65 profile tyres against gps system) and the ride is a bit too firm as it is would have been even firmer with lower profile.Anyway will post pic when they arrive

Smile Re: alloy wheels

I went for the wolfrace black stallion with 195/65/15 tyres view at rochford tyres site they also carry same package at a Halfords ive just visited . And if anybody wants to reply that "ive had those and all the paint fell off in a week " or "as soon as as i turned right at over 30mph they sheared off the rim" dont because

1 ive already paid
2 i will be doing nothing other than worry about them peeling and buckling.
2 Ill only be spending more time and checking them than i should, it really anoys the wife.
3 i would probably the have to spend more money getting new tyres for the old steel wheels so that i can re fit those for the salty winter period. once again annoying the wife
4 Do you know how many dishes i washed to get on the wifes good side to buy these

So everybody start their post with "great choice" or "what a bargain" or " i bought a set of those to 25yrs ago and they still look like new"

OK?
