| I bought a second hand multipla with a chassis number in the band concerned. I found out about the problem from the owners forum website. I phoned fiat central to see if my car had been dealt with. It had been done in 2006 because it turned out to have been an ex dealership demonstrator. The irony is that just two days after phoning FIAT the front suspension spring snapped wrecking the tyre and brake pad sensor. FIAT would only pay for the replacement part but the labour had to be at FIAT at £78 per hour. I took it to my local man who replaced the broken spring with a NON FIAT part for £50 and £20 per hour labour. BE WARNED, just because they have been replaced does't mean they won't go again. I am having the other spring replaced with the NON Fiat part shortly.
