Ours has done 40,000 and is still running nicley. It is just on its second pair of front tyres. It has also had that 'bit' that makes the turbo work properly because it got a bit lifeless. There was also £100 to spend on the clutch with a leaky seal in the master cylinder..otherwise very pleased still.

Purchased March 2000, only done 50,000 miles. Had clutch (hydraulics) fail twice so far. Now got clunky suspension, radio only picks up stations within a radius of a few miles (could be something I did when I ripped out the mobile phone hands-free kit that I had installed!), black plastic trim is grey (discoloured very early actually) - but still happy with her and she makes me smile whenever I look at her. Pity can't say same about the missus....:D

My multipla 52 plate was purchased second hand with 52,000 on the clock in 2005, its a taxi and i have to date done 92,000 and its still running well, apart from the usual service parts, its had new front wishbones, Anti-roll bars, and more recently rear wheel bearings, the most wear item are the wishbones and anti-roll bars.

Not bad for 92,000 miles and still going well

mine is a 2001 jtd diesel Multipla which has done 123000 th miles. The engine is as sweet now as the day it was new.
Pity I cannot say the same for the rest of the build.
Usual Electrical glitches and suspension problems.
Had the Gearbox overhauled 3 months ago. As without any previous problems or indication that somthing was wrong it just stuck in first Gear.
The Engine is about the best Diesel Engine around.
In my opinion better than the French Diesels which I am familar with.

Regards

Noel

Ive just bought a 02 plate JTD ELX with an outstanding 133000 miles on the clock, it has been fully serviced by Fiat and runs like a dream, body and interior clean and crisp. Just cleaned the MAF in the air intake as it was a bit gutless, now she is a flier. What a great motor, love it to peices. :D

Just bought mine today. On a 'Y' plate with 137,000 recorded. Drives like a dream. Still on first clutch which gives me some cause for concern but nothing wrong at present.

mines currently at 259000, on an x plate.
had it 16 months , got it at 106000. used as a airport taxi.

Do you have the handbook for the radio? I've a Multipla registered in 2000 and if yours has the same model Blaupunkt radio (St. Tropez RCM 168) as mine you should be able to adjust the tuning sensitivity. Press DSC, then when the word MENU appears, use ^v on the big multifunction button to the right of the tuning indicator to scroll through settings until you come to SENS (LO). Using >> or << you can alter the sensitivity from LO (local stations only) through to DX1 (distant weak stations). Have fun......... Jim.

Well ive had mine about 4 months and so far its had 2 new wishbones 2 new anti roll bar links ive got a new w/pump and cambelts in a box ready to go i need an anti roll bar (still cant believe bushes are not sold seperate) and its done 92.000.....but im still happy so far:)

My previous Multi had 200,000 on it when I sold it about a year ago. It's still running around now as I see it often locally. Wasn't a taxi - a doctor owned it and went from Devon to London a few times a week.

Wouldn't know - guy who bought it off me did reckon the cluch was on it's way out though - obviously to get the (already cheap) price down. I had no problems with it though.

My current W plater has 122000 on it. No probs with that either - apart from broken trim, cracked windscreen (now replaced), ciggy burns, screw holes in dashboard, oversized tyres (1 with slow puncture), no spare (due to broken support cable), body filler in bonnet cracked, and those damned anti roll bar rubbers!!

Wonder how the 259000 miler is getting on?
