just replacing front strut top mount to stop knocking from front end and had to destroy the top strut nut to get it off, (also broke loads of allan keys) could anyone tell me the thread size and type so I can get a new lock nut.

just a follow up on strut nut, I went around local shops but could not get one so looked at the strut and saw it was made by AL-KO so I emailed them to see if they could supply one or let me know what size it was. I got a quick reply from them saying basically they could not help and to go to a fiat dealer, which the last time I did told me they did not have to supply parts for cars after 10 years, anyway phoned stoneacre fiat Grimsby and they can get the nut for £3.90 so now on order waiting for it to arrive.
