Hi
My fuel line has perforated. It is the return pipe from the pressure jets. If anyone is breaking one and has one available I would be pleased to have it!

If you can post a picture that would be ideal.

Hi
It is a single pipe. Hope the pic travels

Yep pic is posted.
It's not under pressure, being a return , how about just replacing with fuel hose, you may have to save the push fit connection at one end.

Or replace the leaking section with fuel hose.

Yeap It is.
I was hoping someone would have one they are dismantling for a tenner! They don't go often. The feed pipe is as new but the return pipe is well rusted with no plastic coating surviving

If you look at the pic the piece from the bottom left to top right is plastic fuel line. The plastic pipe is then joined to the metal pipe (at the front subframe) which in the pic down to the thick piece. This is machine joined to the thick rubber length and passes through a heat proof sleeve which has a jubilee clip. The other pipe is part plastic and the rest is steel. The fact that they differ suggests that it is because of the closeness of the engine. That is why I was reluctant to use plastic throughout. I also dont know how they joined the plastic and metal parts.

There is probably a way around it but It is unlikely that £10 would buy sufficient fuel hose.

Plastic and metal are often a machine push fit (very tight)
The machine joined metal to rubber bit is a crimped joint, the rubber pushes onto a smaller metal tube and the larger metal tube over the top is crimped down on top of the rubber hose.

Hi
My original post only asked if anyone was breaking a Multipla. I had already ruled out buying a new pipe or repairing the pipe. As no one is I bought the one on ebay for £20 incl p$p which isn't too bad a deal

I'm glad you have what you want.
£20 is a very good price.
Well done.

Pitty i didnt see this, im breaking a non runner 150hp 16v Multijet.

I want to try get it running but havent got the time to get dug in deep yet...

Hi
That would have been fine!
All fitted. My only problem was lowering the fuel tank to get the pipe to the connector. One of the two bolts sheared off:( The captive nut is welded inside the cross member and the screw had rusted a bit. It turned but not being able to WD40 it didn't help. Tried drilling through the stub using a cobalt drill bit but as usual it was a pain. The Fiat garage said to drill a hole in the side of the cross member to insert a new nut, but conveniently the straps have two holes in them and only one was used (had to use a thick spacer above) and there was a hole without welded nut in the bottom of the cross member. Also noticed that there was already a large enough hole about 70mm away in the side. I fed a 60mm bolt and washer through the side member and then through the bottom hole. Put the nut on and then gripped the bolt with a mole grip. The job is a simple one: remove rear seats, raise the carpet, remove the OS runner from the centre seat and the NS one of the OS passenger seat, remove cover. The pipes have arrows indicating the flow so you know which one to remove.
