hi hope everyone had a good Christmas and new year, i've got a bit of an issue with my bus its going to need front and rear hubs as some monkey has managed to make a bit of a mess of the wheel bolt threads just need a bit of info first before I get ordering the bits, are all the hubs the same (early and late) i've got a 54 plate . And how easy is it to do. Rears look easy enough are there any hidden probs with the front. thanks in advance for any help

Rear hub and bearing come as one unit I'm pretty sure. I did one and it came off pretty easily I had a lone of a pullers though. The inner race stayed on the axel though but I got it off handy enough with some big screw drivers/chisels to get it moving.
Make sure you get a hub that is ABS compatible(I'm assuming you have hub brakes on the back)
I did a front one aswell(actually it was the hub carrier I replaced which involved removing the hub first)... getting the carrier off was not fun... don't remember the hub itself being problematic.

I also damaged threads on a hub... but I got the right size tap and fixed them up... that an option???

Yes - rear hubs usually come as a unit comprising flange and bearing & they're easy to swap. Make sure you get the right type - cars with ABS have a larger diameter stub axle (front & rear, I think) and the bearing shields on them are the reluctor ring for the ABS sensor. If you're pressing the bearings into place yourself (and as Marty says, you'll need a press to do the front ones) make sure you get the bearing on the right way round!

For the front ones, you'll need to buy the bearings and flanges separately. Again, make sure you get the right ones for your car if it's got ABS. This post (and the video in the one above it) may be of interest:

I wasn't very impressed by the Birth ones. They're still sat here, in their boxes.
