After checking the previous posts regarding washer pump problems, I'm still in the dark.
My pump died so I found one in a Multipla recycling facility = scrap yard
The 'new' one works, BUT, it works backwards - pull the stalk up to wash the windscreen and no water appears on the front window, but it does on the rear screen, press it down and the windscreen gets water and the rear wipers work.
I thought it might be down to Fiat having a play time half way thru a prod run - mines a 04 JTD ELX, and maybe they'd changed suppliers or wiring, so I reversed the wiring and it made no difference, it's got me baffled, any idea's please.
