I've had my Multipla Eleganza with the automatic climate control for about a month, and just spent a week doing 800 miles in lovely hot temperatures. Thankfully, the air-con does work, and pretty well too (can probably do witha regas to get up to peak performance but it'll do). However, im not convinced by the 'climate' bit of the control, there are temperatures from 18-30 with lo and hi at each end. I've spent most the time with it on lo or 18, lo cools the car down, then 18 reduces fan speed and keeps it cool. But as the day goes on and gets cooler, the fan speed reduces more i think, which is good, but if i turn up the temperature, there is no change, i took it upto 23 with no change (it wasnt 23 degrees in the car), at 24 it put out what felt like mixed air, i didnt try higher but 24 was too warm and 18-23 was too cold. I know the heater works as i previously turned it upto 30 (thinking that might be the issue). I am wondering if this relates to a faulty temp sensor and its gone into a back-up mode where the dial acts more as a non-climate model so everything below the middle (24) is cold? any ideas where i could start looking as would love to have it working properly and not have to keep fiddling with it. I have multiecuscan so if theres anything to check on there i can look, im not really familiar with it yet.

Somewhere near the heater controls, or on the fascia there will be a small grille, like a coin slot. This is an air intake to the temp sensor for the system to measure the internal temp, to compare with your request. Over time, it clogs with dust, so the sensor becomes less sensitive. Go over it with the vacuum cleaner, gently. This is often all it needs to restore proper operation.
My Panda has auto climate. When I bought it at 4 years old the system was slow to respond to temp changes. Vacuumed the little vent, has worked very well ever since.
