Hi again everyone!

I swear my heart is broke with this Multipla. Anyone who seen my previous thread will know I have replaced a massive amount of parts on this car.

Whilst putting it back together after driveshaft popping out twice due to balljoint coming loose, I did notice leakage that appeared to definitely be coming from the driveshaft/gearbox oil seal.

I ordered up the proper genuine seal from a gearbox builder and fitted it. What I have noticed since rebuilding front end is a little clunk when accelerating that was never there before. It couldn't be anything else as the entire front end has been renewed, the top engine mount replaced and the bottom mounts all appear fine.
I have been assuming it may be the driveshaft itself...I did check it over before refitting and it appeared absolutely perfect.
I had a look under today, to see the same side is also leaking again...the seal is in 100% perfect.
What do you think??? Could this be due to the driveshaft itself?

I would think it's more likely to be the bearing behind that seal, inside the gearbox/diff housing. After the problems you've had with driveshafts being pulled out, it wouldn't surprised me if that bearing had suffered some collateral damage.

Is the end of the driveshaft in good condition?
