They are listed as part number GH-322359 and DO NOT FIT.

Whilst they look the part the lower leg is a good 2 inches shorter than what they should be. This means that you cannot attach the drop links. I have seen the exact same ones listed under different names but all have one thing in common, they come from Poland. This has been a £70 mistake for me and have now had to go order another pair of Monroes from my local auto factors.

That's very odd. The same seller also offers ebay item number 181737964932 (tried posting the direct link but it's hideously long). You don't have to look very hard at the photos of the two to see that they're very different lengths.

If you open a case with ebay, you will get your money refunded, if they're not as advertised.
It clearly states they are compatible with all Multis, so if they're clearly not, you'll get a refund.

Did you try contacting the seller?

The only problem with that route is that I bought them in December and only just got round to fitting them. The time to claim has long since passed. This was a lesson well learned.

Just stick them back on ebay, listing the relevant measurements, unless you found out what they're meant to fit?

How much were the Monroes by the way, I think mine are due for replacement now.
Any other recommendations for suppliers?

I've been away for a bit, Multi's been behaving (FLW!), but MOT is due, so no doubt I'll be active again on here soon!

Main reason though is I got another Italian Toy . . .
Stelvio1.jpg

Moto Guzzi 1200 Stelvio.
Rented one for three days in Italy last Sep, was so smitten I bought one when I got back!

I threw them in the skip.

The Monroes were £131+ VAT. I replaced the top mounts as well as the rubbers were not sound. Here they are going together. The hydraulic press was the best purchase of my life.

I always chase the threads with a die first and then apply cermaic grease to the threads for future easy removal
