Hello all...

At almost 180k miles our good ol' multipla is still going strong

However the base of the drivers seat has become so deformed by goodness knows how many 'gettings in and out' (rear right corner squashed) that it's now producing such a wonky driving position that I'm getting killer back ache and butt pain!!

My brain wave is to try and swap over the base from the little used front centre as it's virtually new

Bit put off because of the wiring for height adjustment and recline

Anyone done this before or have any tips/thoughts?

Have a search of the forum for my 'How To' on fitting heated seats. It gives a guide for getting the seat covers off. I don't think you'll need to touch the seat height adjuster mech.

If the centre foam is the same as the outer seats, I think there's a new one listed on ebay.
