I am struggling to locate anything online to show how to access the heater matrix and replace it on my 2006 petrol Multipla. (under dash).

does anyone know of any info on here, external links or downloads.

I don't now have my eLearn disc, it's gone walkabout but you could have a butchers on The Fiat Multipla Owners site on Yahoo. There's a good list of repair jobs on there.

It's not a job I've had to do (yet) so I have no first hand experience.

If you get stuck it's worth having a look at ePer (see link top of page)

Often the "exploded view" of the parts along with a bit of logic can explain stuff for you. I your case I'd be looking at the dashboard components etc as well as the heating system

Worth a try but not enough info for me.
I am hoping not to have to take the dash out altogether.

I know it will need to be stripped down underneath minimum though.

Looking at the ePer, it would appear that it's a big strip down - could involve the whole dash or most of it.

Took the time to look at my mates old bug today, you might be able to get at it from the bottom of the windscreen, via that plastic facia under the wipers

Did you get this done yet? If so, was it a big job & do you have any tips? Got to do the same on my 2000 petrol bug, not looking forward to it....
