Hello,

I have an 1.6 engine Multipla (1999).

I can't start it in cold (below 14'C) weather. Above ~16'C it can be started with forced and continuos gas, and after it everything is OK. When the engine is warm, it starts at the moment zou turn the key.

Computer does not prouct any code.

What may it be?

Thanks and sorry for my poor english.

Hi Mihaly, and welcome to FF, :)

does the water temperature gauge work / read at the mid-point when running o.k.?

your problem sounds as if the engines computer (ECU) does not KNOW the engine is VERY cold , so does not adapt to add MORE fuel..,

 has the engine cooling fan come on once the water / engine is HOT..??

I agree. Is there any sensor in the engine for it? Where? Our does the engine use the cooling fan's sensor?

Yes, of course, I checked it.

Thanks!
