Decided to fit my Towbar at last (the one I'd removed from my original Multi' when I scrapped it), might be needing it this weekend, lucky I did.
While I was underneath, I noticed the rear-left Subframe Bolt was missing! (n)

So I'll be trawling round the local shops later today looking for another one.
I'm thinking I might have to go to the Fiat Dealer though, unless my usual fastener supplier has something suitable.

My usual go-to fastener supplier had the right M12 x 1.25 pitch Bolts, but not quite long enough.
I bought a length of studding though as a temporary fix.

Next I went to my local Fiat Dealer, they didn't have them, but said they could probably get them in within a few days if any other UK dealer/supplier has them.
They gave me a print-out of the part numbers and price (Bolt £2.69 ~ Washer £3.80).

I rang when I'd got home and checked the length of the Bolt (there are two lengths on the parts list, 95mm and 105mm both showing the same item number), and the guy said they'll have to come from Italy, and there may be a minimum order amount (I started cringing, waiting for the distant time estimate and price-hike ).

He's just rung back to say "I can get them in for Tuesday, no minimum order, and they'll be the same price as quoted."

You lucky ba***rd! :D (y)

Pretty scary to know that you were a bolt short in the first place though. Imagine being the car behind when that fell out!

But I forgot the first law of Italian driving: "What is behind you does no longer matter" (ripping the rear view mirror off the windscreen). What film is that from?

Thinking back now, I thought I'd run over a small piece of metal a day or two beforehand, I heard a faint 'clink-clink' sound, it might have been the Bolt escaping.

When you consider the amount of weight you could stuff in/on a Multi; six 'large' adults, a stack of luggage, and a heavy trailer etc, I wasn't too concerned driving it for a while without it in place.
I had all the rear seats out anyway, and it was mainly just me in it most of the time.
If it were one of the front ones I'd not have driven it, as 99.9% of the time they're in tension, whereas the rear of the Subframe is loaded upwards.

The Film?
