My n/s electric window goes down (slowly) only about 10cm then stops...

As long as I've had this car it's always been slower on this side and tbh I can live with it only opening a tiny bit but now I worry about it stopping altogether...

Has anyone had this and is it likely to simply be the motor?

Have you tried cleaning the guide runners for the window glass? Also, check that the motor linkage hasn't got snagged. Both are easy enough to get at. I put a couple of piccies on here years ago about getting the doors cards off. Will dig it out. Back in a mo.....

Oooo thank you... I had to take the door card off when I had an issue with a lock ages ago so think I can get it off....hmmm that reminds me that I will need some help putting that back together again ... Will post some pics...
