Hi all not posted in a while as my new multi has been running fine lol. Anyway way today I took the kids to new Brighton beech about 60miles away on the way back my engine management light come on engine faulty contact gargre any ideas ? The cars only done 57,000 miles 1.6 petrol 2004 plate any help welcome

Hello, If it's running fine then ignore the light for a few days. It might go away. They do! Obviously if it's not running normal... if it's driving safely then still ignore it for a few days! I had the management light come on one Tues evening . It was running on reduced power at low revs but fine above about 2000rpm. So I kept running it through the week meaning to put my fault code reader on at the weekend. Seemed like maybe a turbo problem. Friday morning the light was off and everything running normally again and has been ever since (months). You might be so lucky.

hi it was running fine I had to get it pluged in though I couldn't rest lol. It was a temp sensor the bloke cleared it and said you will probably never have any problems with it again lol
