I seem to be on here a lot recently, car is obviously going through a mid life crisis. This time, engage had very low revs, difficult to pull away, chugging along as if the car is going to give up.

Took it to a friends garage, he plugged it in the super computer and nothing registered. He also used it for the day driving around without issues.

We had it back and it went back to low revs again.

Any ideas what it can be and what I could ask my friend to check over as my wife is losing confidence in driving.

Could do with knowing what model you have and whether it is petrol or diesel.
