Ok

I've tried everything else, including bleeding, water is hot coming in and out of the bulkhead. Cable is fine for the flaps under dash, so I have to accept it is most likely the heater matrix that needs replacing. I am not losing water, but it is brown suggesting rust somewhere.

So can anyone point me to a guide to access the matrix heater, or give instruction here.

Thanks

Mark

I would think that if you have hot hoses in and out of the bulkhead, then you'll have flow through the Matrix, unless the heat control valve is on/near the Matrix.

Other than the fairly common problems Multi owners get with the fan, I don't recall seeing many (if any) mentions of Matrix problems.

What is the actual fault?
I'm guessing you have a problem with something other than the Matrix itself.

You could if you really want. Connect the inlet with a hose from the mains and the run it. Keep the other side open and any crap will come out. Worked in the olden days. May work here as well.

Worth a shot.
However, if the fault is that the valve has failed closed, and it's behind the bulkhead, the water won't reach the Matrix.

Anyone got a diagram (or link to) of the heater circuit and components?
