we always wave of flash (headlights) at multi owners
very exclusive club were in owning a multi
peace

the ones that don't wave are probably chauffeur-driven... they have to keep up appearances

Well, we are Multipla and Goldwing owners, and have been for several years, and we always wave at both!! Trouble is, the Multipla drivers don't understand why a Goldwing is waving and vice versa!!

Some one had a laugh with this thread I wave and people look at me like I'm a dick

Must be just for these people that live in villages and all no each other I told some women about it after I beeped the horn at her and she crack up laughin

I've been flashing recent and getting waves bk off people

i dont own a multipla as yet but do hope to get one very soon but the whole wave/ flash the lights thing is something classic vw beetle/camper van owners do as i used to drive a vw beetle and used to love the repect of another fellow vw owner liking my car.

People do wave and smile and other times you do it and u can look like a d/ck

You flash/wave as a greeting - that's a friendly gesture. If they think you're mad it's them who are a d/ck not you Flash/wave if you feel like it, not 'cos you have to!

Had my first flash and wave today since purchase. Took me a little by surprise. I mean, I am used to a little nod of my head, or a leg wave on the motorcycle. but in a Multipla!

What's it meant to mean? Reminds me of the recent top gear episode with caravan parking. I just waved a middle aged man with 3 kids for no apparent reason, other than having the same car.

Just wave/flash and enjoy it. If the miserable f***er coming the other way doesn't realise it's about the car, I love the last glimpse I get of their face as they flash past my drivers window. You can see it in their expression: '****, do I know him?' or 'Speed trap/accident ahead?' or 'Have I left my lights on?' or .... the possibles are almost endless.

Lifes too short to be concerned whether others think you're a dick. It's harmless fun, so enjoy it!

When I was in the UK this year I rarely saw a Multipla, I waved when I did (no replies)

Over here I would be constantly waving..There are at least 5 in my close neighborhood, and they are used as Taxi's in the town.

Multipla owners in Scotland either flash or wave most of the time....Not in the snow though!

being new to this multipla thing (on the road just over a week now) i have noticed the flashing waving thing. seems to be a really friendly bunch of owners. as a biker im used to that but car drivers doing it is a very nice novelty.
oh and had a mate say "what did you buy that ugly P.O.S for"?
5 minutes later after sitting him in it and taking him for a drive he's now scouring flea bay for a multi. funny how people are biased just by looks.

I have a 06 deisel which is called Miss Daisy as she is black with blue and yellow daisys all over also some lovely eyelashes on the headlights. My two sons both call her ugly but i love her i am 74 and waited a long time to get her
