Hi all, I have checked out your threads on this but need further help. I have a 2004 JTD 115 with auto air con (air con has not worked for past 4 years so not connected to this problem.

I have no fan or heating, I have no temperature on the speedo. The background lights on the dashboard pulse on and off when the main lights are off. It worked for a few days at the time I had it booked into the fiat dealer, so didn't take it in and now it doesn't work again!

I have checked the fan, resistor, ECU, wires around the footwelland can't find any problems.

I wonder if there is a bad earth connection but don't know where to find the earth for the interior fan system. Can anyone help with this please?

Also wondered if the outside temperature on the wing mirror could be faulty?

Tried to to look behind controls on dashboard but couldn't get to see. Looks impossible without removing the dash!

I presume you've checked all the appropriate fuses/relays?

Had a similar problem with my original Multi', back in Jan 2010 . . .

Great, sorted. It was the connection block in the passenger footwell.

Nothing visibly wrong with the connection but fiddled about with it with ignition on and the fan cut back in. Have now bypassed the connection block and now working fine.

No problem, glad it's sort of sorted.
If you've done nothing but wiggle the connector, expect it to go awol again fairly soon.
Once the connection starts to deteriorate, it'll need a permanent fix before long.

Just gor this problem this morning!
Hopefully this will sort it.

Was able to fiddle with it and get it going again.
Will have to do something more permanent soon.
