Hi all,

I have a knocking noise from the front end when I'm driving with the wheel straight or turning slightly right - it gets faster or slower with road speed but not RPM.

It does get slightly better when under load so I thought it had to be CV joints. I got some from J and R CV joints and put them on. No difference whatsoever.

I know my ARB bushes are shot, but they've been like that for a while and just give a clonk when going over bumps. There's no chance they could be causing the noise is there?

My next thought for the culprit is inner CVs, but I've looked all over and can't seem to find a supplier for them without resorting to the stealer.
Has anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,

Ben.

Just another thought, could it be the offside half shaft bearing? Anyone had experience of that going?

Thought I should clarify as well it's a 115 JTD - if that makes any difference.
