Front wipers have stopped working. The fuse is OK. I've picked up a cheap second hand motor unit and now need to fit it. Eventually got the wiper arms off the spindles with a puller and the application of some heat and following that the black plastic grille below.
Unbolted the wiper mechanism but can I get it out? No of course which is why I'm writing this.
Do you need to take the fairing off at the top of the bonnet to get it out (it's an 2003 model by the way)? I've unscrewed all the bits I can find but this is still attached at the bottom of the posts by the sides of the windscreen and I can't work out how to release it.
I've already cracked the blinking windscreen trying to get the wipers off and don't want to do any more damage (than I have to).
