When I turn right a strange grating sound comes from the rear right wheel area. I can't work out if it's a bush or suspension. Anyone got experience with this or an idea what might be causing it? Thanks Vince

Have you checked that trailing arm bearings are not excessively worn? When parked, do the rear wheels lean in significantly at the top? If sop, the noise is probably the wheel as it catches the plastic wheel arch liner. See pic attached of how bad it can get. Laser line is true vertical.

Yes, I will have to look into that. Though there doesn't seem to be any 'toeing in' of the wheel. Suspension issues are starting to rear their ugly heads bow and stern. Bushes on the way out all over. Thanks for your reply. Vince

So it was the brake line rubbing against the tyre. Put a croc clip round it and the base of the lower suspension arm. Seems to have sorted it out.
