Greetings! The rear of my baby has gotten downright embarrassing. The trailing arm bushing is gone on one side and the subframe bushings are downright crispy.

The same car I thought about getting the turbo from (2003) has a good rear suspension with disk brakes as opposed to my drums. Is this a pretty straight forward conversion or will it require major brake line/sensor/etc work? My subframe is quite rusty and I'm sure all the bolts are pretty much seized on the trailing arm. I can get the whole assemble for a really good price.

I appreciate any/all input!

My original Multi had rear Discs, my current one has Drums . . . I'd go for Drums every time now, given the option (y)

The Calipers on the Multi are like many other cars, a nice idea in theory, but in practice are a complete pain in the a**e (n)

The problem is the mechanical handbrake mechanism, and the pathetic return spring arrangement, barely adequate when new, after a few months of British weather, they're hopeless.
I replaced them on my original Multi, they were starting to seize up again in less than a year :bang:
