Hope some one can help my MAF has packed up have tried cleaning and now disconnected and performance better but confused which replacement to buy. I have been advised to replace with Bosch as anything else is a false economy and looked on euro car parts and found the two below which allegedly are OK for my multi. Thought it strange that there is such a price difference so took my old MAF off and the SKU number is completely different again with the third, Amazon link the only one that held this exact part.

My question is will the cheapest Bosch one from ECPs do the job? And also interested to know if it will why are the prices so different for a unit that essentially does the same thing?

Thanks in advance.

The existing MAF is a Bosch part number 0281002792 for my 2008 multipla 1.9 diesel.

The part finder tool in eurocarparts lists two compatible Bosch MAFs with a different SKU/part number.

I'm not so hot on the squarenose stuff I'm afraid. Have you got your own copy of ePER? The forum ePER isn't recent enough to cover your car. My other suggestion would be to search on the Mister Auto site using your registration number. Their price probably won't be great, but it may give you the correct Fiat or Bosch part number. You can then google that and see what comes up. There's a shop on ebay.de that may have the one you're after at a good price - they do ship to UK, but the 'worldwide' search on ebay UK doesn't seem to bring them up. I think their may be another one in Poland too. Failing that, Rytiss here on the forum may be able to help out.

Edit: How about this one?:

Free shipping to the UK......

Thank you so much I have looked on eBay Germany and they are coming in at £100ish so will probably take the plunge rather than take a chance with ecp and maybe the wrong maf again though if it fits not sure what the implications will be.

The outfit I linked to in Latvia seem to have good feedback. Looking at their feedback listings, they sell a lot of Bosch kit so I would think it will be genuine. If it wasn't Bosch would have come down on them like a tonne of s**t by now.

Except for the earliest roundnoses (which have simpler MAFs), you're doing well if you find a genuine Bosch MAF for the Multipla for much under £100. I paid just under £90 for one for my late model roundnose and had to buy it from Germany to get it at that price.
