Managed to replace front section of my Multipla JTD exhaust which was blowing for a couple of months. Initially it was liveable with but the engine fault light came up and it got a bit fumey so thought I had better fix it. Niavely I thought the engine control light would go out once the pipe was fixed assuming it was related. Also can't rev beyond 3000 rpms also so hills are interesting! I was going to start to clean all the sensors starting with the oxygen sensor that runs into the section of exhaust I replaced and then the CAT sensors as they will have been starved of some exhaust fumes and may be unhappy. I wonder if anyone could give me any guidance on which sensor the fault is most likely coming from in light of the fact that I was running a blowing exhaust for a couple of months. I do appreciate the indicated fault may be unrelated but coincidence is convincing me otherwise.

Many thanks in advance.

Most independents will have a code reader.

If you say whereabouts you live then maybe someone might recommend a place nearby

If you have a laptop multi_moo, you can download the software for free, and an adaptor/reader lead is only around a tenner . . .
FIAT OBD Cable

Alternatively a simple stand-alone code reader is around the same price.
OBD reader

Worth having if you're keeping your Multi for a while.
