Hi,
I am in the process of trying to put a new passenger sun visor on
Does any one have any tips on how to remove the old one?
It has broken off leaving a short stud still inserted in the left hand bracket
and when i remove the screw there is slight movement but it won't come off

The bracket has a flat plastic tag that slots into the roof space. From memory to remove the bracket you have to rotate it downwards and towards you and it is quite a tight fit. Once the bracket is out you have to disconnect the cable which goes through the mount and feeds the vanity mirror to release it completely. The connector is up inside the headlining and wrapped in a little bit of foam, but you can carefully pull the wire through till it comes into view. Hope that helps1

I am trying to do the same thing. When you say "rotate it downwards" which way do you consider downwards as the bracket is in the roof-lining, do you mean rotate clockwise or anti-clockwise? I have tried both, but it doesn't appear to want to turn more than about 20degrees and does not come free. Any other thoughts?

Did you have any luck? I am trying same...cannot find enough movement for the bracket to release from roof-lining.

Hopefully I have managed to attach a photograph which shows it clearly. The tab points away from the passenger seat towards the front of the car. Once you have taken the screw out hold the bracket and turn the closest edge downwards while gently pulling towards you and the tab should come free once the bit sticking up has cleared the cut out in the roof.

quick fix if the visor keeps falling down.
take the visor off and then pull the bracket from the visor. You will then see a broken clip inside the visor. Then just put a bit of paper inside and put the bracket back in. With the paper inside the visor will have additional grip and won't fall down any more. It worked for me. :)
