My 115JTD has suddenly developed a very rough tickover also up to 2k revs then it's fine.

The EGR is blanked off.

Any ideas?

getting better after 2k revs because of the turbo it start to making pressure. Thios could be a maf problem, try to disconect and see if it's helps.

Have disconnected the MAF it was better for a while but now is just the same.

Check the small (often red) tube from the MAP sensor to the turbo actuator solenoid; especially the connectors & bits of rubber tube it pushes into. It may also be worth cleaning out the MAP sensor itself (carb cleaner spray & a toothpick). Try blowing the tube from the MAP end with the solenoid bypassed. Does the turbo bellows rod move?

Bought new map sensor from Oscaro here in France. 65€.

Showed it to the Multi, it decided to run fine with no problems for over a week.

Returned it to Oscaro, the moment it was posted back to before.

Yes I sorted it out after it failed it's CT for emissions.

Yeah im beginning to think that's my prob too.
were all 4 bad do you think or did some garage just swap out the 4?

I know it sounds too simple, but I would spend £10 on Diesel injector cleaner 1st....cleans the whole system, injectors, pump etc...things get sticky and cloggy after a while, so using the right snake oil can works wonders.

Ive tried them "snake olils" before and had no joy with them.(ive had the slightest rough running on this engine for last 50K...since i had it basically but it wasnt causing me a problem)

I even used this one by Liqui Moly called diesel purge...i filled my fuel filter with it to get it neat to the injectors.

the problem suddenly stopped and all the backfiring stopped aswell...
I got a set of replacement injectors in the meantime...just have to rustle up the motivation to actually replace them!

Just a follow up...got injectors off an Alfa with a mere 97k on them.
Put them in this eve...running better than ever and my rough spot has disappeared!
Got em for 60 quid including postage so well happy
I borrowed a injector puller slide hammer and a reamer for cleaning up the injector wells and it made the job real easy in comparison to previous removals.
