Happy New Year!

I had a puncture about 02:30 this morning, does that count as the first breakdown of 2014?

No note, but they left plenty of 'evidence' in the form of smashed wing/door mirror, door trim, wheel trim, door handle trim.
Part numbers on the bits point to a 2005-2008-ish Peugeot 407, possibly Black (mirror housing parts are black).
Will be going round some local car repair shops soon . . .

Passenger door came off worst, the rest I can live with . . .

It's not like they could have possibly not noticed it either, that door is battered, must have been quite a shock to find your car like this :(

bet you they were drunk and that's why they left no information. Ar#*holes

0440-ish New Year's morning, gotta be drink-related (or on their phone/texting, or fiddling with a pratt-nav)
Parked right under a street-lamp and off the road on the verge.

My Daughter heard a crunch around that time, then the sound of a car reversing, couldn't see anything from her window though, unfortunately.

A black 407 at that time of the morning could even have been a taxi. Might be another line of enquiry. Are you on a busy road, or is the likely culprit going to be easy to find?

On a lighter note, does your Porsche have a 'My other car's a Multipla' sticker in the window?

Good call on the Taxi, didn't think of that (y)
Not my Porsche, next-door neighbour's, retired Dentist!
Bet he's glad we let him park it outside our front door though, if we didn't, it would have that that got it

Very busy main-ish road, links the M40 and M4, so could have been going from/to pretty-much anywhere in the country really.
